Boyan Ivanovich, CEO of communication agency d:istinkt, has been named Executive of the Year in the category "Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations" at the prestigious Stevie International Business Awards 2021. The category celebrates the success of the businesses that managers run, which are judged by an international jury of over 260 leaders from around the world. Agency d:istinkt has been awarded bronze in the category "PR Agency of the Year in Europe”. 

The recognition comes in the year in which the agency celebrates its 20th anniversary in the communications services market. In the last financial year d:istinkt reported over 55% growth in turnover and added to its portfolio new clients, including Telenor Bulgaria, CETIN Bulgaria, Lidl Bulgaria, SOBI, Klett Bulgaria, the European Parliament and others. Earlier this year, the agency went through a comprehensive rebrand that included a new logo, name and corporate identity. Boyan has been managing d:istinkt since 2019, when he started the transformation of the PR agency into a creative business for integrated communications, which meets all current expectations of modern companies.

Boyan Ivanovich has also been part of the jury of the International Business Awards, but on the Public Relations and Annual Reports committees. They evaluated applications in the field of corporate social responsibility, event organization, video production, crisis communication, influencer management, internal communications and others.

Boyan is a serial entrepreneur, founder of one of the largest technology sites in Bulgaria - Smart News Bulgaria. In 2020, Boyan announced the new media production company CRAVE, which focuses on creating innovative digital content. He holds a PhD in Theory of Journalism and Media from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University. Member of the Board of Directors of the World Commission on Health and Pharmaceutical Industry of PROI - the largest network of independent communication agencies in the world. He has advised major companies, including media giant Netflix and pharmaceutical leader Horizon Therapeutics.
